Clair obscur is a masterpiece through and through. The art, music, and writing all create a sense of immersion and personal investment I've seldom seen in video games. While the the ending is controversial to some, it really landed for me as one I will remember for a very long time.
The story is gutwrenching, but in a truly special way. It's not filled with cheap emotional moments made to "force" you to feel, instead it flourishes in the subtle and silent moments. It is an incredible experience and I think everyone should give it a shot, regardless of your feelings on "JRPG" style games.
