Clair Obscur is well deserving of its title as the most decorated game in the history of the Game Awards. The art and graphics are truly stunning, the gameplay is more engaging than you would expect from a JRPG inspired game, and the narrative is truly top notch. If you have not yet played this game, please stop reading and play this game before reading any further.
The narrative, while controversial to some, I think truly hit the mark. It is gut wrenching and powerful throughout the entire game, and the characters are perhaps the most well written characters I have ever encountered in a video game. The music is the cherry on top that makes this game a true masterpiece, every track is a beautiful piece of art that I legitimately listened to in my free time after beating the game. Do yourself a favor and play this game.
