Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation video game. Similar to its spiritual predecessor, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (also developed by Frontier), the game allows players to build different theme park rides and roller-coasters.

A spiritual successor to the Roller Coaster Tycoon series, Planet Coaster doesn't quite hit the mark for me. It doesn't really build on its predecessor, and in some ways feels like it has taken a step backwards. I am also not a huge fan of the monetization in the game, keeping a lot of themes and rides behind paid dlc without any material difference from the base game.
